About earth_trauma 

I’m a self-taught maker. I design, cut, dye, finish, condition and construct everything by hand in my home studio in the hudson valley in Upstate NY.

All leather pieces are made from often salvaged/repurposed - 100% top quality leather with the earth and sustainability in mind. The leather I get often has texture, thickness, and other deemed ‘defects’, but I enjoy working with these materials that would otherwise not be used. Leather is meant to last and, although it is complicated, I love that a leather item can be kept for life and I make all my pieces with that intention. I offer repairs on all my stuff and ask that you please let me know if something needs to be refurbished/repaired.

I am currently a full-time student getting my MS in acupuncture, so am not taking on any projects at the moment, but please do reach out if you need a repair on a piece I made.
